Teacher Testimonies
- I really enjoyed using the C'motion equipment and its program. I am not much of a dance person, but I found this unit to be very easy to do and motivational. It is very easy to set up each day and get the program started. I would definitely use this program again.
- My students at Brownsburg High School participated in the C'motion DDR unit for three days. I was very pleased with the results. Not only did the students love it, but it was a fun way to incorporate physical fitness. THe students were given pedometers to count their steps. This lead into fun competitions to see who could get the most steps. This was an all around great activity to get their heart rate up while playing one of the most popular video games out there. It was fun for the students, but it's really easy to set up for the teachers. Don't fret if you struggle with technology, it's very easy to understand and the C'motion representative walked me through it step-by-step. This is definitely a must for physical education classes everywhere. It is guaranteed to make every student laugh, have a great time and participate like never before.
- Students were excited about class. Music was fun and helped create enthusiasm. The pedometers made each student accountable. Levels could be adjusted for intensity.
- I was very excited to have C'motion come to our school. The students were very excited and wanted to turn on their pads. My class loved this activity!! The class had their heart rates up and most girls got up over 2000 steps in less than 25 minutes. I would recommend this activity to anyone who would like to increase the activity level of their students or children.
- C'motion is a flexible, captivating and interactive program that is challenging and yet allows students to have fun and success at all grade and skill levels.
- If you want to get kids moving you need to do C'motion. I saw kids that never move get over 2000 steps in 20 to 25 minutes. This was a great activity for all types of kids: athletes and non-athletes. The students were excited everyday to be on the dance pads. The music was very motivating and very school appropriate. I never heard one negative thing about participating in C'motion. The kids got their heart rates up and were sweating and truly enjoyed themselves. I like this activity so much that I plan on getting with C'motion to purchase this for me and my family.
- Most students don't like dance units in PE, but with the LCD Monitor, Game Console & Software, and high quality sound system, the students had a great time. C'motion was a great way for everybody to be involved at the same time while having fun. I really liked how students were able to keep their heart rates up the entire period. During the C'motion unit, we went through a lot more towels in the locker room because students were sweating from working so hard. Having pedometers was also a great way for teachers and students to set step goals for each class. We calculated how many steps it takes to equal one mile and then the students figured out how far they traveled during the class period.
- Finding creative and fun ways to increase participation, energy level, and enthusiasm from students is a daily goal for us. C'motion was a blast not only for the students, but for the staff as well. The students had fun, their heart rates increased, and their energy and enthusiasm was high. I would highly recommend C'motion to all teachers seeking exciting ways to help students develop healthy and active habits.
Principal Testimony
- The C'motion program was economical and easy to set-up and implement. The equipment was impressive but easy to operate. The students caught on quickly and were amazed by the number of steps they actually took each time. Some students were already familiar with this type of activity from seeing it in arcades, movies, or even attached to their own game systems at home, so why not take advantage of this familiarity and bring it in to the physical education program. ALL students were genuinely engaged in exercise, without even realizing it - now that's effective instruction! We even had staff members joining in the fun! As a principal, I was impressed by the impact it had on our students. They loved the rhythmic stepping and saw the physical activity almost as a game. I heard many students saying they wish they could have more of the C'motion program.
